The industrial sapphire project has a long industrial chain and high technology content. It has not started in China for a long time and is still in the industrial cultivation period.
Let electricity, heat, and steam recycle
At present, the market has high-quality 4 inch sapphire crystal rods, more than 60% of which are from a Russian company. The domestic crystal quality of the best enterprise products only account for 20% of the market share, and about 10% from South Korea and other manufacturers, other domestic manufacturers Only the remaining 10% share can be divided. The high-quality industrial sapphire belongs to the "president's daughter" and is not sold at all.
Although industrial sapphire has excellent physical, chemical and optical properties, it is a "one thousand favorite", but in the production process, electrical energy consumption accounts for about one-third of the production cost, and the requirements for electric energy and water are more demanding. Its “settlement” is a new business, because Xinsheng Industrial has unique conditions.
Xinsheng Industrial has a thermal power plant with an installed capacity of 49 megawatts, with an annual comprehensive utilization of more than 300,000 tons of water. The slag and fly ash and desulfurization gypsum produced by the thermal power plant were transported to Shandong Jinan Wanhua Cement Co., Ltd. and Jinan Chenglong Building Materials Co., Ltd. as raw materials for production. Xinsheng Industrial has formed a coal-power generation-building material industry chain based on coal resources, and has built a circular economy model of resource-product-waste-recycling.
The first phase of the Xinsheng Photoelectric Industry Sapphire Project invested 200 million yuan to complete the construction of 100 crystal furnaces by the end of 2017, reaching the scale of production.
On October 24th, the author saw in Xinsheng Optoelectronics that 32 crystal furnaces produced by horsepower were used. The 38°C constant temperature water generated during operation was continuously delivered to the thermal power plant, saving coal for heating boiler water. The electric energy of the new liter photoelectric furnace is from the thermal power plant.
This is the Xinsheng Industrial-Hot-Vapor Cycle Economic Energy Demonstration Project. The project supplies electricity required for crystal growth, generates high-temperature heat energy and then recycles it. After the heat is returned to the thermal power plant through the pipeline, it is used for industrial production and residential life.
The water pipe turns a bend and brings benefits
As of the end of September, Xinsheng Optoelectronics has produced a total of 66 45 kg grade, 39 60 kg grade high quality sapphire crystals.
In the crystal growth process, the temperature in the furnace cavity is as high as 2100 ° C. In order to avoid damage to the furnace cavity caused by high temperature, it is necessary to use the normal temperature water to cool the crystal furnace. After the water has passed through the furnace, the temperature reaches about 38 °C and must be cooled before it can be used again.
Faced with this reality, a bold idea appeared in the mind of Li Shuxin, chairman of Xinsheng Industry. "These heat energy is also a resource, and it is a pity to waste it." He immediately proposed the idea of building a photovoltaic cycle economic park, and transported this part of the heat energy to a thermal power plant that needs heat. Xinsheng Optoelectronics has a linear distance of only 0.5 kilometers from the thermal power plant, and it is blessed with unique conditions.
The water temperature of the boiler feed water needs to be raised to above 100 °C. It is to be understood that heating the normal temperature water to 100 ° C and heating the water at 38 ° C to 100 ° C, the coal consumption saved is very considerable. After repeated demonstrations by the leadership team, the company submitted the application report for the construction of Xinsheng Optoelectronics Technology Park to the Zhangqiu District Government of Jinan City, Shandong Province. In July 2017, Zhangqiu District approved the investment plan of Xinsheng Optoelectronics Technology Park. Immediately, the construction of Xinsheng Optoelectronics Technology Park was launched.
"To build a science and technology park, we have innate conditions, laying and adjusting the pipeline, and we can further develop the circular economy." Li Zhifeng, deputy general manager of Xinsheng Industrial said.
“In the past, the water pipes directly connected to the thermal power plant were now turned into the sapphire workshop, and after cooling the furnace chamber, the pipelines laid in the coal conveying channel were directly passed through the thermal power plant. After the water pipe was turned, the benefits and significance were very different. Song Xubo pointed to the pipeline introduction.
Before the boiler of the thermal power plant was replenished with water, it used normal temperature water. It is sent to the deaerator through the make-up pump, and then the steam is heated to heat the water above 100 °C. After the industrial sapphire project was put into production, they used heat pump technology to extract the heat from the new rising photovoltaic cooling water, plus the boiler feed water in the thermal power plant to reduce the steam consumption of the deaerator.
According to preliminary calculations, in the case of 100 furnaces, the annual consumption of standard coal can be reduced by 30,000 tons, accounting for 23% of the annual consumption of thermal power plants, and reducing 600 tons of sulfur dioxide emissions. Only this one can save 15 million yuan in coal cost.
For Xinsheng Optoelectronics, the self-supplied electricity price of the thermal power plant is 0.678 yuan per kWh. If you buy electricity from the power grid, you must not only pay the electricity bill, but also install a 7000 kVA transformer to pay 2.35 million yuan of capacity per year to the power sector. . "We have a rough calculation, using the own power of the thermal power plant, in the case of 100 furnaces, the annual electricity savings will be 5.37 million yuan." Song Xubo said.
According to the current electricity consumption of 1 million kilowatt-hours per month, the thermal power plant can increase the annual revenue by 3.02 million yuan. Comprehensive calculation, only electricity and heat cycle, Xinsheng photoelectric and thermal power plants can save at least 20 million yuan a year.
By 2020, Xinsheng Optoelectronics' total investment of 1.5 billion yuan will be put into operation. The annual income will be 5 billion yuan, the tax will be 250 million yuan, and the circular economy will be at least 80 million yuan.
